2007-2008 Leaf Collection Program
Bagged leaves will be collected free of charge from resident curbsides throughout Franconia Township for the first time ever this year, beginning Thursday, November 8. Free bags can be picked up at the Township Building.
- No Yard Waste; leaves only.

Collection Bags: Only leaves bagged in biodegradable paper bags will be collected.
- The township offers residents free leaf bags at the Township Building weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (671 Allentown Road)
- You may use purchased biodegradable paper bags too.
Collection Days: Collections run from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Allentown Road forms the dividing line between collection SECTIONS I and II.
SECTION I: Northeast and southeast of Allentown Road (toward Souderton and Telford). Please see map.

- Place bags at the curb or street.
- Bags containing anything other than leaves will not be collected.
- Bags will not be dumped and returned.
- Leaf collection is provided by the township, as required under a state recycling grant program.
- Leaves will be composted at J.P. Mascaro’s Forman Road location.
